Standards. Standards are much like Law and define acceptable behavior of processes and people from governance to education curriculums, vehicle operation, taxation, home building, manufacturing, public behavior, security, and justice.

There can be a standard of acceptability for everything; however; not everything requires a formally defined standard. Standards may not subsidize the one but must benefit all to be efficacious. The language of standards must necessarily be malleable in order to evolve to optimally serve their spirit and intent to a practical point of diminishing return. Plank definitions are the standards by which any political party defines itself and to which it must adhere.
