The purpose of this event is to build community and show the Common Sense Party's commitment to helping the community. Trash and recyclables/CRV would be picked up alongside 10 miles of Highway 18 (turnout areas only, both sides). Common Sense Party signs may be on display on/in the volunteers' vehicles. 

Directions – 210 Freeway to Waterman Ave./Highway 18 North exit, go north on Waterman Ave. (Attention westbound traffic: stay in the left lane on the off ramp and be ready to make a quick lane change to the right to get to Waterman Ave. just after you get off the freeway).

Staging is at Parkside Elementary School, southeast corner of Waterman Ave. and Parkdale Drive,  approximately one mile north of the 210 freeway exits. Park on the north side of Parkdale Drive, at the school, facing west. 

Staging/prep time: 9:00am to 10:00am 

Pull-out time: 10:00am 

Upon leaving staging, vehicles will caravan north on Waterman Avenue/Highway 18, approximately 4 miles to the first turnout, and disburse from there. 

Vehicles that do not make the staging area before the pull-out time can proceed up Waterman Avenue/Highway 18 to join the caravan.
